
It is also higher than the per capita income of Andhra Pradesh. Despite this, Telangana ranks the same as Andhra Pradesh in terms of Human Development Index though it was lagging behind a decade ago.
The Telangana state government on Wednesday released the Socio-economic Outlook for 2014 instead of the usual Socio-economic Survey released by governments every year.
Per capita income in the state stood at Rs 93,151 a year while that in neighbouring Andhra Pradesh is Rs 85,797 per annum.
The national average of Per capita income is lower than both the states at Rs 74,380 per annum.
